Payment Policy

Payment policy requires an initial deposit (often 25-50%) to secure services, with the balance payment due a specified period before the travel date, such as 15 or 30 days prior.

Payment methods include online transfers, bank transfers, credit cards, or demand drafts, and the policy is subject to change for peak seasons or specific high-cost services.

My Trip Customized also detail cancellation charges, which escalate with proximity to the departure date, and may require full payment for certain bookings.

Initial Deposit:
A non-refundable deposit is typically required to confirm the booking and services. The percentage varies, but 25% is a common figure.

Balance Payment:
The remaining balance is due a certain number of days before the departure date.
Due Dates:
The exact due date for the balance varies by agency and can be 15 days, 30 days, or even a week before departure.

Payment Methods:
My Trip Customized accept various payment methods, including:
Wire Transfer/Net Banking
Demand Drafts
Credit Cards
Cash

Special Cases:
For high-demand periods (e.g., Christmas, New Year) or specific services like special train journeys, full payment may be required in advance.

Changes and Surcharges:
The policy may state that prices can change due to hotel policies, high season, or other factors, requiring additional payments before departure.

No Credit:
My Trip Customized often do not offer credit facilities, meaning all payments must be made as per the policy.

Cancellation Charges:
The policy will clearly outline the cancellation fees, which typically increase the closer the cancellation is to the travel date.

Example Scenario
Booking & Deposit: You book a tour, pay a 25% non-refundable deposit, and receive a booking confirmation.

Intermediate Payment: You pay a further 50% of the total cost 15 days before your departure date.
Final Payment:
The remaining 25% is due 7 days before your arrival.

Failure to Pay: If you fail to make payments on time, the agency can cancel your booking and apply the cancellation charges mentioned in the policy.
